My Online Addiction (Not as Titillating as You May Think)

Some people cruise the Internet for porn. Me? I'm looking at places in San Francisco. My friend Miz Literature and I are thinking about shacking up (hell, if she has better health care at her job I may propose) next summer. She has two dogs, so a place with a yard is preferable; I thought this was impossible, but Craigslist is overflowing with places that accept pets.

Check out my latest obsession, which is actually quite close to my old 'hood:

And because I am also obsessed with being able to once again decorate my own place, I'm also into:

Just file this one under "Yep, Still Turning into an Old Lady" and call it good.

Love it. I can give you the address to my moms house (shes about 10 min away from there) and you can get some authentic Mexican food. If you drink tequila with her, she may even adopt you as one of her own...then I can call you sissy too!

Sign me up. My stepdad has spoiled me with the authentic Mexican food and my mom loves tequila. I would so fit in with the fam. Hey, I can call you my Mo-Bro!

That is a NICE place. It makes me want to move tomorrow instead of during the summer. I heart looking at places to live.

P.S. That colorful dining room rocks my socks. And, I love that the place has a small room downstairs for an office. English nerds like us need a separate space to store books.

ohmigoodness. over three grand for a two-bedroom, and it's way the heck over in west portal? d'zamn. the housing market is worse than i thought!

Yeah, the housing market is not awesome, but I know that area and it's really nice. Not especiall exciting in terms of the nightlife and whatnot, but a quick cab ride can cure that. Since we're looking at places with a yard for Miz Lit's two dogs, that makes a difference.

When I tell people in Chico what I paid in rent for a studio (all utilities, cable, etc included) they freak out.
